Vince Vaughn Surprises Fans With a Rare Family Outing—Meet His Stunning Wife and Adorable Kids
Vince Vaughn prioritizes keeping his marriage and children out of the spotlight, fostering a more normal environment for the family of four despite Vaughn’s mega-fame. However, the Vaughn family wanted to be together for his Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony on August 12. The 54-year-old proudly took pictures at the ceremony with his family, who seemed comfortable and happy to be together.
Vaughn made sure to acknowledge his family during his Walk of Fame speech. “My beautiful wife Kyla, I’m so glad that you’re with me on this now. I’m so grateful for you and these beautiful kids and for all the laughter that we share together,” said the Old School actor. “As much as all this means, Vernon and Locklyn, you guys really do need to know that you guys are the most important thing in the world to me.”
In 2008, Vince Vaughn met his wife, Kyla Weber, through a mutual friend at a wedding in LA. Weber, a Canadian real estate agent, hails from a small town called Blackie, in Alberta, Calgary. Known for her private nature, the 45-year-old maintains a relatively low profile despite her husband’s fame. She told Parade in 2008, “I always try to keep my relationships quiet and my work at the forefront. For me, the biggest foundation always is that you can laugh with each other, that you have fun with each other, because life really is made up of all the little moments.”
The couple dated for about a year before Vaughn proposed on Valentine’s Day in 2009. At the time, the Swingers star was 38, and Weber was just 29. Their engagement quickly made headlines, with Vaughn expressing how he felt ready to settle down and start a family.
Vaughn and Weber married later that year, on January 2, 2010, in a small, intimate ceremony at the historic Armour House at Lake Forest Academy in Vaughn’s hometown of Chicago. Close family and friends attended the wedding, which did not appear in tabloids or paparazzi photos, marking the beginning of their enduring and private marital relationship.
Vaughn and Weber have two children. Their daughter, Locklyn Kyla Vaughn, was born on December 18, 2010, making her 13 years old. Their son, Vernon Lindsay Vaughn, was born on August 7, 2013, and is currently 11 years old. The family lives a relatively private life in Manhattan Beach, California. The Dodgeball actor and Weber also own properties in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, and Paradise Valley, Arizona.
The family occasionally makes public appearances together but generally maintains a low profile. However, Kyla has joined Vince on the red carpet several times this year. They appeared at the premieres of Curb Your Enthusiasm season 12 and Apple TV+’s series Bad Monkey.
