‘Sister Wives’: Meri Brown Thinks Kody Brown Hasn’t Handled the ‘Pressure’ of Being in the Public Eye Well
Kody Brown and Robyn Brown have consistently ranked among the most hated reality TV stars ever. The Sister Wives cast members have certainly done some things that have garnered serious negative feedback. Meri Brown might know Kody and Robyn best, but she doesn’t want to publicly state that they are selfish or bad people. The inn owner thinks Kody Brown has buckled under immense pressure. She didn’t share many thoughts on Robyn.
Meri Brown doesn’t think Kody Brown has handled the pressure of stardom well
Meri Brown has recently hit the podcast circuit. She happily answered questions about herself during her appearance on The Sarah Fraser Show. Still, she faltered a bit when the topic of media attention on her ex-husband came up. Fraser asked Meri if she felt the disdain for Kody was justified. The small business owner noted that she doesn’t think anyone deserves the hate they get in the media. Still, she did agree that Kody and Robyn may not have made themselves look all that likable at some points in their reality TV career.
Meri was quick to note that there might be a reason for that. She theorized that the media scrutiny and the changing dynamics in their plural marriage was too much pressure for Kody Brown and that he didn’t handle it with much grace. Instead, he theorized that he “exploded.” She didn’t offer up a theory about Robyn Brown.
Does Meri Brown actually like Kody and Robyn?
Meri Brown might not have shared the thoughts that are really rolling around in her head. In her podcast interview, Meri’s words were extremely measured. She even said she would “get in trouble” no matter what she said. She did not elaborate on what kind of “trouble” that could possibly be, as she’s long since removed from her marriage to Kody. Still, it’s easy to read between the lines and see that Meri still resents Kody and his fourth wife. We likely will never know the full extent of her feelings, though.
Frankly, it would be understandable for Meri Brown to have negative feelings about Kody Brown and his now-legal wife, Robyn Brown. While it’s hard to say for certain, all evidence suggests Robyn’s entrance into the family served as a catalyst for the end of the Brown family’s plural union. At the very least, her presence in the family unseated Meri as Kody’s legal wife and significantly altered their longstanding dynamic.
