Is Jenelle Evans’ New Boyfriend on Team David Eason?
Jenelle Evans introduced her newest love interest on Teen Mom: The Next Chapter, much to the chagrin of viewers hoping she’d take some time off from finding love. Well, viewers might be getting their wish.
Evans possibly spoke about her new love too soon. While she recently discussed her potential romance with her manager, August Keen, it appears to be over. At the very least, their social media movements suggest the relationship did not work out.
August Keen now follows David Eason on Instagram
Jenelle Evans’ new boyfriend doesn’t seem to be her boyfriend anymore. At the very least, the potential love interests don’t follow each other on Instagram. August Keen, who lists himself as a talent manager on Instagram, follows over 7,000 people, but Jenelle Evans is not one of them.
That is a fairly new development. According to TeenMomFanz, Keen was following Evans until very recently. The unfollow isn’t the only abrupt change to his Instagram account, though.
After Keen dropped Evans from Instagram, he began following Evans’ soon-to-be ex, David Eason. It looks like Eason and Keen have been in some form of contact because Eason has made some changes to his Instagram account, too. Eason is more discerning when it comes to the people he follows on Instagram. He is currently following less than 500 people. Still, Keen is one of those people; Evans is not.
Jenelle Evans is following fewer people, too. She is no longer following Eason or Keen. She dropped Eason from social media months ago but only recently unfollowed Keen. All the recent social media movements indicate that whatever romance was brewing between Evans and Keen is over, at least for now.
David Eason appears unbothered by whatever is happening with Evans’ love life and their impending divorce. The troubled North Carolina native appears to have a new girlfriend and has been following court orders not to speak about Evans on social media.
Are Jenelle Evans and David Eason divorced?
Jenelle Evans’ new romance might be over before her marriage is officially dissolved. While Evans and David Eason split in February 2024, they have not yet filed for divorce. That isn’t because there is a chance for reconciliation. Evans and Eason seem resolute in their decision to call it quits on their seven-year marriage.
North Carolina only allows couples to file for divorce once they have been living separately for 12 months. The clock starts ticking from the time the divorcing couple maintains separate residences. Based on the laws, Evans and Eason can not file for divorce until February 2025. Since Evans was the party that filed for legal separation earlier this year, we assume she’ll be the one filing official divorce paperwork.
