‘And Just Like That…’ Season 3 Seems to Be Doing Away With 1 of Charlotte York’s Biggest Fashion Fails
The cast of And Just Like That… is busy filming on the streets of New York City. While there are months of filming left to go, fans are already feeling optimistic about the fashion they’ll see in season 3. Based on recent photographs, it seems that one of Charlotte York’s biggest fashion blunders from seasons 1 and 2 has been mostly rectified. At least, we hope so.
‘And Just Like That…’ fans had some complaints about Charlotte York’s season 1 and season 2 fashion choices
During seasons 1 and 2 of And Just Like That, the costume department was laser-focused on dressing Charlotte York in outfits with short, puffed sleeves. The dresses she wore included this divisive fashion trend. When she wasn’t in a dress with puffed sleeves, she donned poet tops and other garments with billowing sleeves.
The costume department didn’t totally miss the mark with the garments they chose to dress the cast in. Puffed sleeves have had their fashion moment in recent years. Still, And Just Like That… fans took to social media to bemoan Charlotte’s wardrobe choices. Fans argued that the puffed-sleeve trend didn’t make sense for Charlotte, whose fashion preferences always veered closer to timeless than trendy. It seems the production team has heard what fans are saying.

Filming for season 3 of And Just Like That… is still in the early stages. The cast only returned to the set in May, and they are expected to film season 3 through at least the summer. Still, the fashion appears more promising than the last two seasons, especially for Charlotte. It seems the costume department has mostly replaced Charlotte’s puffy-sleeve ensembles with sleeker and more sophisticated looks.
Since she first appeared on set for season 3, Davis has been spotted wearing several elegant outfits. In mid-May, she was spotted filming with Nicole Ari Parker, the actor who portrays Lisa Todd Wexley. Davis rocked at least three outfits during the filming session, none including a puffed sleeve. In one scene, Charlotte and LTW wore athleisure sets. In another, Charlotte donned a tweed skirt and sleek black top. She wore a classic navy polo top and green pants in yet another scene.
A week later, photographers captured Davis filming with Mario Cantone. While it’s unclear what the scene was all about, Charlotte was once again dressed in a tight-fitting costume. She wore a long-sleeve floral top and a pink skirt. She was spotted on set in June alone in a blue floral dress.
The puffy sleeves aren’t gone for good, though
While fans of And Just Like That… are happy to see Charlotte wearing something less trendy in recent stills from the set, the puffy sleeve still appears occasionally. Davis was recently seen on set wearing an all-white dress with puffed sleeves, much to the chagrin of fans. While the heavily-debated sleeves are popping up occasionally, it seems the fashion is moving in a better direction this season. Still, only time will tell.
The cast of And Just Like That… is expected to film all summer in New York City. Max has yet to announce an official release date for season 3 of the reboot but has revealed it will not be released until 2025.
